iowa!

last weekend i traveled eastward for iowa state's homecoming and some general tomfoolery with old friends.

these fine gentlemen were kind enough to pick me up at the airport. you can just tell how excited they were to see me!

on friday night we went to an indian cooking class. we learned how to make cabbage rice and then got to then sample some indian cuisine.

after the class, this guy sang a song. a 30 minute song.

after that tasty food, we had a sweater party at nate's apartment. a sweater party is one where everyone wears a sweater.

steven, michael, and i wore sweaters.

nate wore a sweater but wasn't happy about it.

kathryn did not wear a sweater and was ostracized the entire evening (except when we were taking this picture).

we spent all day saturday watching football and growing out our mustaches for michael's 'stache bash. a 'stache bash is a bash where everyone wears a 'stache.

nate's was green. no wonder he is usually clean shaven.

(also i took him to get a haircut but was too busy holding his hand while he freaked to take photos.)

steven opted for a trucker slash creeper look.

kathryn and i went for the sexy look (mission accomplished).

marc already had a mustache before saturday so i don't think the party was that fun for him.

all in all it was a very fun trip! i have the best friends ever and wish they would all move to colorado. please?
