this semester, our studio project is about the "poetry of light." to develop our understanding of this topic, we are to do 100 sketches studying the quality of light throughout the semester. here's a smattering of what i've done so far.
p.s. those last 2 were done with my super fancy sketching pencil, dad. it's a big hit. it was on loan much of the summer and now many people are going out to buy their own.

I've seen far less interesting pieces hanging in museums! In fact, we were just at a reception in restored bank building with several large scale paintings (8' x 8,' 8' x 10') and your pieces, scaled up of course, would look perfect there. Better really.
Glad you found a use for the instrument. Gotta have the right tools.
I use slides from NREL in my talks on wind energy agreements, which is what we were just in Omaha for.
